VANCOUVER, Wash. -- (Aug. 4, 2006) -- Two of the newest Portland Trail Blazers today announced they will make a public appearance this weekend's FITJAM06 -- a fitness celebration for both adults and kids to be held at Nautilus World Headquarters.

Brandon Roy and LaMarcus Aldridge will meet with fans and sign autographs from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday at the company's outdoor basketball courts. A full schedule of activities will run from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.

Nautilus World Headquarters is located at 16400 SE Nautilus Drive (Mill Plain and SE 164th). There will parking on campus as well as in surrounding lots in the Vancouver Technology Center.

Nautilus equipment is used at the Trail Blazers' practice facility, and the company is one of the team's corporate sponsors.

FITJAM06 activities on Saturday include: free inflatables and a climbing wall, health and fitness exhibits, fitness demonstrations, corporate athletic events, and a huge truckload sale. Families can join the fun all weekend by participating in a 5k walk/run, 3-on-3 basketball games and basketball clinics for players of all skill levels.

The event also features softball and flag football games, and special appearances by Trail Blazers mascot Blaze, the Bowflex(R) Stunt Team, Blazer Dancers and the Seahawks' Seagals.
